Green Man Money Jar Spell

I've wanted to do it for awhile, and I finally did it~ I'm on YouTube! This is my second video, I'm trying to manage posting every Saturday, but this one ended up being posted on Monday. My first one was a Beltane Beauty spell, you can find it on my channel. I did this video without my glasses, the reflection of the light in my lenses was a bit of a distraction. I'm shooting right now with my iPhone clipped to a floor lamp and a small selfie light up in my studio and editing in iMovie on my phone. It's not a very professional setup, but I'm not unhappy with the results. I need to get a better light. For sure. My son Tristan suggested that I get a copy of Premiere Elements for my computer, he can teach me since he has Premiere and is an editing wiz himself. So we'll see. Maybe you'll be able to watch my videos improve with time.

About the Spell

Green Man is the joyous laughing Spirit of the green woods: Here's a really easy spell to help you attract the energies of this spirit of growth and abundance to help you open up to limitless abundance and bring more money into your life. This spell was inspired by my article “The Green Man: Spirit of Abundance” published in Llewellyn’s 2012 Magical Almanac.
I wanted to make this a spell that anyone could do with stuff they probably had around the house. That being said, feel free to add other items associated with prosperity and money drawing to your Green Man Money Jar if you wish.
When I write spells, I really don't mind a bit if people want to change it around, make additions or substitutions, in fact, I encourage it. Magic and spell work should be a creative endeavor so I think it's perfectly wonderful if people want to take a spell and add their own twist to it.
Feel free to make changes as you wish to this spell, I always change stuff to suit my needs. Enjoy it and make it your own!

If you go to my YouTube channel you'll find a link to download the Green Man jar label seen in this video to color and add to your own spell!

I hope you have fun with this one, more to come in the future.

If you liked this spell and want to see me make more videos like this, please like and subscribe on YouTube. If you decide to post a photo of your awesome Green Man Money Jar on social media, please tag me, I'm delighted to see how yours turns out! I'm @mickiemueller on every platform.

Blessed Be!

The Symbolism of the Fearless Sigil

I sketched a sigil in my hotel room during my recent trip to New Orleans to sign books at the American Library Association conference. This vision of this was fueled by the positive energy that filled the whole weekend; the intention of this design is to fill our lives with magic and live fearlessly in the moment. Being true to yourself is the best psychic shield from negativity in the universe. I'm calling it "Fearless!"

Fearless Sigil

I ended up creating some hexenspiegles using the design and also some beads that I picked up while shopping and exploring on my trip. People seemed to like the sigil and wanted to see it on other items too so Dan and I created a few items to put in our shop with the sigil on them. I'm really glad it's energy is speaking to others as well. I had a couple people ask me about the symbolism and the process, so I thought I would share it here.

I have several different ways of creating sigils depending on how I’ll use it and the circumstances, there are probably as many methods as there are witches in the world.  I seldom use the method of creating sigils from the letters of my intention, it just feels less organic to me.  Sometimes I construct them purposely and logically using magical symbolism. Other times I connect deeply with my emotions of the intention while visualizing the outcome and then closing my eyes I create a small bit of “automatic writing” pushing my feelings and intention through the pen then clean that squiggle up and turn that into a sigil. This one was kind of a result of both methods in a way but also included meditation and being open to Spirit. I didn't set out to design a sigil, it kind of presented itself from my subconscious.

Having faced some fears in my personal life head on using self-care, practicality, and meditation in the previous months and had gotten confirmation that I had overcome a big scary obstacle to my future on the summer solstice; just one day before my New Orleans trip.  This recent catharsis made the trip very joyful and brought me into a place of mindfulness and living in the moment while discovering a place I had never been and just exploring life to it’s fullest. The elements for this sigil came to me in flashes, I knew immediately what it meant and what it was for. I felt that all the magical work I had done over the last couple months to get me through a hard time and face my fears head on was manifesting in imagery appearing in my mind, I sketched it out on a scrap of paper in my hotel room. When I got home I cleaned up the imagery and created this sigil. The energy behind this design is to fill your life with your own core magic and to live mindfully in the present without fear. Being true to yourself creates a powerful psychic shield from negativity surrounding you, therefore it’s a sigil to provide protection and boost personal power. Finding balance and knowing that you’re spiritually protected can make you fearless in the face of obstacles before you. If fear is the mind killer, I’d rather be fearless!
Fearless Coffee Mug

Because of how this sigil was created, breaking down the symbolism of this sigil was more like dream interpretation (or daydream interpretation) as to what the elements of this sigil mean. The symbols came first, and then I looked at the symbolism and said, “Aha, yes, it makes sense to see this here.”

Corvid: The crow or raven in this sigil is a messenger of the dark aspect of the Goddess. Representing battle and the strengthening against strife and injustice, the corvid with wings outstretched support us in both literal and metaphorical battles while guiding us to success. An equal armed cross appears in the center of the corvid as a symbol of magical protection.

Eyes: The eyes on the corvid's wings are the eyes of the dark Goddess watching out for her own and showing us our own strength to face our fears and overcome them with wisdom.

Moon: The moon is a waning crescent moon to banish and clear away fear and previously programmed emotional constructs that are false and no longer serve us.  The moon is emotion and is linked to the element of water and the tides reminding us that we can build power through self-care.

Skull: For me the skull has always been a symbol to remind us of our mortality and the temporary nature of all things. Knowing that everything is temporary gives us power because it reminds us that everything that happens will pass and change is a sign of life.

Pentagram: A symbol of both magical energy and a psychic shield, the elements in balance with spirit above them all. This pentagram also is connected to the wings of the corvid combining the powers of both and has tridents coming from the other three points to oust incoming negative energy.

Circle: The circle envelops the eyes, and the corvid, reminding us our physical body and connection to Spirit combined is the way to personal power. It’s wings extend beyond the circle to symbolize unlimited possibilities.

Line Intersecting the Tail: The line stemming from the crescent moon below the corvids wings that marks where the body ends and the tail begins reminds us that the past is just that, the past. It gives us the power continue moving forward and rid ourselves of past trauma in order to release the fears associated with those experiences. We can then bring the lessons along but leave the destructive energy behind us.

I hope you find this sigil as empowering as I have. Below I'll drop some examples of where this sigil is used in my shop for anyone interested.

Blessed Be!

Fearless Sigil Hexenspiegel
A hexenspiegel is a special kind of mirrored charm used in folk magic traditions, the term is German for "witch's mirror." Hexenspiegel charms were sometimes worn as jewelry or displayed as small household mirrors with the belief that the hexenspiegel would reflect away the evil eye, harmful magic, or other bad intentions from others. The common belief was that the malevolent energy once sent would still belong to the sender until you received it, according to folklore a witch's mirror prevents it from being received and therefore the bad juju remains with the sender. It's a pretty neat little charm. Read more about these magic mirrors in my book The Witch's Mirror, The Craft, Lore & Magick of the Looking Glass.

Free Candle Labels and Spell for the Super Blue Rowan Moon Lunar Eclipse

If you love this art, you can view the print here an read about the inspiration behind it: Lunar Eclipse

Are you ready for the Super Blue Blood Moon tomorrow? It's kind of a big deal and a confluence of energies that magic users can take advantage of.  In order to decide what kind of magic to do during this special day, we need to examine each of these energies in play and what they mean.

I have a free spell and printable candle labels click here!

Date: 1/31/2018 in the early morning hours. What time is it happening? I don't know where you live, but here's a link to find out where it's happening near you:  TimeandDate.com

Here are the energies we're talking about:
full moon
super moon
blue moon
lunar eclipse
rowan moon

Full Moon
We all know that the moon goes through phases over the course of 28 days. The full moon is traditionally the time of power for magic users. The moon has great energies, love, intuition, spirituality, healing and is related to the Goddess or feminine aspects of Deity. The Moon pulls the tides and also our emotions with it's cycles. The full moon is a time when it's energy and magnetic pull is at it's pinnacle. The full moon is the best time in a month to manifest and bring about big changes.

Super Moon
This Full Moon is due to be about 16 percent brighter than average and will appear larger in the sky, because it's the closest it will be to the earth enhancing the moons energy.  The super moon will exert about 42 percent more tidal force than the moon when it's at it's furthest from us. But fear not, in reality the super moon should cause no natural disasters or anything, but some bonus moon magical energy and a great show, for sure!  If you look at the moon when it's close to the horizon or through a trees branches it's easiest to see the effect because it gives your eye a point of reference. Magically work magic during a super moon to enhance all the qualities of a regular full moon.
Blue Moon
Ok, it's called a blue moon...that does not mean it's color is blue though. A blue moon doesn't refer to the color of the moon, but instead can refer to the fact that we usually have only one full moon in a calendar month, but occasionally we get a second full moon in a month and that moon is sometimes  known as a Gregorain "blue moon."  The third full moon in a season with four full moons is referred to as an Astrological or Astronomical blue moon, for a further explanation of that, click here.  They don't happen often, which is where the term "once in a blue moon" comes from. A blue moon is a moon for wishes! It's a good time to work magic that's monumental taking advantage of the unlikely appearance of a blue moon.

Lunar Eclipse

A lunar eclipse happens when the shadow of the earth passes across the full moon. You can observe something very similar to the phases of the moon, unfolding over merely a period of hours, instead of the month as usual. I say similar, because it looks different somehow, the dark section isn't black, but an otherworldly color, sometimes gray sometimes a brownish-red, which is why it's sometimes called a blood moon. The shadow as it crosses the moon is different than usual, not a sharp edge, but a bit fuzzy. From a magical standpoint, a lunar eclipse can bring about change, it is a good time for letting go of the past and unveiling something new in your life before you.

Rowan Moon
According to the Celtic Tree Calendar the Jan. 31 full moon is the Rowan moon which is the full moon falling between Jan 21-Feb.17. It was believed if a traveler carried a rowan wood staff, it would offer magical protection on their journey.   Rowan wood or berries are considered a powerful protective amulet.  Rowan is associated with the goddess Bridget, music, poetry, fire, good luck and protection, and the Rowan month falls within Bridget’s sacred day of February 2, known as Candlemas or Imbolc. So this is a great full moon to work on projects such as: protection, healing and strength.

Wow! That's a lot going on, many magical elements to work with, so it seems like a good opportunity to work some big magic.

If you don't have something already planned for this full moon,  I have a spell for you, it's my gift to you in hopes that we can all persevere and gain strength in ourselves to the benefit of humanity.

Spell for Strength and Healing in Hard Times

What are you facing? This is a time when the world is in turmoil and sometimes we feel that the winds of change and the forces of fear and hate around us are just too much to handle. We need healing for our spirits so that we can continue the good fight. We need to keep our shields strong against forces that we feel are out of our control. We need to boost up our compassion and send out compassionate energy to the rest of the world in order to bring about the changes needed when the dust settles. Ok, that aligns with all of the energies of the powers of the 1/31/18 Full, Super, Blue, Rowan Moon! What if many of us do this spell? if we're all connected perhaps this energy will ripple out bringing more balance, protection, and healing to the world. I hope so.

I created a sigil specifically for this celestial event and magical purpose and I've included some beautiful candle labels as well. You can print the sigil included in the free download (or draw it yourself by hand) and use any of the candle labels included on your altar. To use these labels for candles simply cut them out and apply them to a jar candles or jars or candle holders for smaller votive or tea light candles using a glue stick.  Never leave burning candles unattended. The candles are a nice way to hold space for the lunar energy happening right now, you can perform this spell either at your altar with the candles or outside under the moon.

If you can either perform this spell during the lunar eclipse itself or any time during the full moon if timing it to the eclipse is a problem due to work, school, or other activities. Here's when to catch it in your area:  TimeandDate.com

Hold the sigil included with this spell. Gaze at the moon or your lunar candles while you visualize the moon removing all fear from energy field, banishing negativity as it pours off of you and into the ground where it will be neutralized.  Feel the power of the moon filling you with it's magic, beaming it's energy down to you as you soak it up. Feel it filling you with the power of protection freeing you from fear, awakening compassion, and empowering your spirit. Now look at the sigil in your hand for a moment and then hold it to your heart as you repeat the following:

"Fear and hate are not to be,
I eclipse destructive forces.
Magic flows from the rowan tree
Protecting me through challenging courses.
Once in a blue moon this wish for me
Heal my spirit with magical sources
Awake compassionate energy
This super full moon power reinforces!

Without looking at it, crumble the sigil, state, "So mote it be!" burn the sigil in a fireproof dish, cauldron, or fireplace so that it becomes part of Spirit.

I hope you enjoy this simple spell and that it empowers you to keep on going with dignity, grace, and wisdom!  If you used this spell, drop me a comment and let me know how you liked it.

Blessed Be!

Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce on Bravo Had my Triple Goddess Statue on Set!

Jan 11 my Sacred Source Triple Goddess statue was seen on TV!

You might remember back in August I received a clearance agreement from the set decorators of Bravo's "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" they wanted to use my Triple Goddess statue as part of the set decoration in Season 3, Episode1! Season 1 and 2 are on Netflix, it's not specifically a witchy or fantasy show, it's a dramady, pretty mainstream, so that's darned cool if you ask me.

So after a couple of my prints appeared on SyFy's The Magicians, I knew the statue would be somewhere on the set, it could be seen right next to a main characters head while they're talking, or it could be a blur in the background, or even end up on the cutting room floor, the only way you ever know for sure is when you watch the episode. You can imagine how excited I was to see my Triple Goddess gracing the fireplace mantle at the elegant Goddess Ritual that Phoebe threw for her friends on the full moon night of the Summer Solstice!
I first found it in a publicity shot for the show!

Once I got to watch the episode I was so excited! I was scanning every scene watching for it and then there it was...squeeee!

Of course I couldn't resist going back through the episode and grabbing a couple screenshots!

I zoomed in on this one.

Anyway, it was a lovely scene, the room was stunning, any witch (or Hollywood socialite) would be delighted to be welcomed to such a lovely celebration.

Thanks for sharing my excitement!

If you're looking for this statue to place in your own home, I designed it for Sacred Source, if you visit the website (Click Here) you can see it close up front and back and even order one for your own sacred space!

"The Triple Goddess represents the divine feminine's connection to the cycles of nature. The Maiden is the spring, sowing seeds, new beginnings, and the waxing crescent moon. The Mother is the bounty of the earth, summer, fruition, first harvest, and the full moon. The Crone is the end of the growth cycle when the leaves turn, final harvest, the sleeping earth in winter, and the waning crescent moon.

All three Goddess archetypes are known individually, but when the three aspects come together in the triple form their power multiplies, reminding us of the beauty of all the parts of life and the cycles of the earth. "

Check out the episode of Bravo's "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" Season 3, Episode 1 (Click Here
http://www.bravotv.com/girlfriends-guide-to-divorce

"Abby deals with the professional fallout from her gigolo scandal while she and Jake care for Becca's abandoned baby. Delia confronts Albert about sabotaging her wedding. Jo considers dating her baker, Scott. Phoebe holds a ceremony to celebrate womanhood, but not all the girlfriends feel like celebrating."

Work in Progress: Hand Painted Altar Set

Ever since Sacred Source made this Altar Set from my designs, I've wanted to try hand painting a set. Well, I'm finally doing it, and they'll be in my Etsy shop as soon as the set is complete! I've finished everything except the God and Goddess statues/candle holders, so that's what I'll be doing next, but I wanted to show you the set so far...
These are the perfect size for tea light candles, although some people like to fill them with substances that embody the elements; salt, soil, stones, seashells, feathers, lava rocks, etc.  I'm really delighted with how this set is turning out.

Air: inspiration, wisdom, potential. I used natural shades to represent air, blue sky, feathers, tree branches blowing in the breeze, billowy clouds, and I also included the traditional yellow. The Sylph air elemental has a golden  airy skirt her multicolored wings suggest iridescence .

Fire: will, passion, courage. In creating the flames I blended shades or fed, orange and yellow, there's a little hot blue at the base of the flames. I made the fire breathing dragon elemental a warm golden color.

Water: healing, emotion, cleansing. The water surrounding this candle holder has shades of blues and greens, the shells have layers of color to create a natural look. The undine water elemental has a supernatural purple skin tone and lovely blue/green hair like the sea.

Earth: nurturing, abundance, protection. I used many shades of greens and browns for the earth candle, a few mushrooms, ferns, oak, and ivy leaves cover this one. It has gray stones at the base, and the face of the dryad earth elemental peers out from an old oak.

Pentacle
I decided to paint the sky of the tree pentacle at dusk, the magical in between time, the sun has set casting warm colors at the horizon, the sky above has begun to sparkle with stars. You can either lay this pentacle flat on your altar, or use the brass hanger on the back to hang it on the wall.

The Horned God of the Forest
I still have to paint the Horned God. He is the spirit of the green forest, the power of the sun, and the Lord of the Wilderness, the colors I use will reflect growth and the woods.
The Moon Goddess of the Night
I also have to paint the Moon Goddess. The Moon Goddess is the spirit of the celestial forces, the power of the moon, and Lady of the Stars.  I will choose colors to represent her nature as the deep mysteries of magic and the night sky.

I'm grabbing some lunch and then I'll be working on the God and Goddess statues. I hope to have this set finished soon. Once it's complete I'll be offering it in my Etsy shop for sale. This hand painted set will make a very magical addition to someone's altar. I have one more set that I will be painting in a similar fashion later this year. When I hand paint these statues, there are no two that are ever alike, each one is brought to life with color, heart and soul and will soon become part of someone's sacred space!

If you're interested in the unpainted version of this set, it's available here: http://www.sacredsource.com/Votive-Set-Altar-Collection-by-Mickie-Mueller/productinfo/VS/#.V9rlXZgrLIU

The unpainted pieces are also available separately, so that if you wish you can collect the set one piece at a time as you work through the lessons of the elements and the God and Goddess.

Blessed Be!

Presenting: The Witch's Mirror Book Trailer

About a week ago my talented kiddo Tristan, who just got an award for directing and acting in high school, got out the video camera, I dressed in my witchy black, we loaded up every mirror we could get our hands on, and traipsed into the woods near a local park to shoot scenes for a book trailer for my upcoming book The Witch's Mirror, The Craft, Lore, & Magick of the Looking Glass. We had a blast, the woods were lovely, green, and full of magic!
This kid is so creative! We also filmed some scenes right in my studio and even included a cameo appearance of the previous books in Llewellyn's The Witch's Tools series. I never stop being amazed at Tristan's talent, it's no surprise that my kid has aspirations to be a film editor and director, after working so hard to hone these mad skills so far, I have no doubt that their work will be entertaining us all in the not too distant future.

Without further adieu, I present The Witch's Mirror trailer by the amazingly talented Tristan Prefect! Be sure to "like" and "subscribe" on Tristan's YouTube Channel.  Enjoy!

You can own some of the mirrors in this video! The scrying mirror and the hexenspiegel sun catchers that you see hanging from the trees in this video will be for sale in my Etsy shop this week, mickiemuellerstudio.etsy.com  ALSO...I'm having a giveaway that ends on May 20 2016 and the prize is the actual book, bookmark, cover flat and compact mirror that appears in this video trailer! Click here to enter!

You can also get a copy of The Witch's Mirror from Llewellyn, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon

Behind the scenes director and editor Tristan Prefect on the job. This young director has a great eye, spied a spider web dusted with pollen and stopped to get a quick shot while we were on location in the woods.

How I Conjured Up a Brakebills College Jacket

Yes, you guys already know...I'm really enjoying the new TV Series The Magicians on SyFy. Truth is, I really started getting into it because they ordered prints from me to use on the set, (read more here)  (...and here) however now I'm totally sucked into the story and awaiting every new episode! I also downloaded the first book in the series to my tablet which I'm thoroughly enjoying reading in between art and writing. So... I've been wanting to try a cool technique from Pinterest for decorating shirts and I knew I wanted to make, a Brakebills College jacket! I know, in the book it's a graduate school, but they didn't want to end up with a problem with kids aging too quickly to keep up with filming the series, so they changed it to a University. If I couldn't get one from Brakebills College bookstore in Upstate NY (don't tell me it's not real...) I decided to make one myself!

I conjured up a one of a kind Brakebills jacket, and I didn't have to use a series of complex hand gestures or speak incantations in obscure languages! All it took was a $5. sweatshirt jacket on clearance, (I used a Hanes ComfortBlend 50% Cotton 50% Poly) a pack of vinyl poster letters, freezer paper, craft knife, a little spray bottle, and some bleach...and my crafty witchy self!

I loosely based my design of the Brakebills "Key and Bee" shield on a screenshot from the show, I needed to simplify it in order to make a template. I cut the shield outline out separately, then cut out a template for the Key and Bee. Rather than plain paper, I used freezer paper. I drew it out on the papery side-the plastic like coated side was the back.

I didn't want to cut out all those letters too, so I found these easy vinyl letters. They have sticky backs for use on poster board signs, they were perfect!

First I positioned the shield outline, then I ironed it onto the shirt. Freezer paper is perfect, you can iron it on so it leaves a nice clean edge and it won't shift or lift while you're working. When your done, it peels off easily with no problem. After I ironed the shield I positioned the letters, they stuck great with no ironing needed, peeling off easily later.

Next I filled a small spray bottle with straight bleach, (lavender scented, 'cause I'm fancy like that) and spritzed right around the edges of the shield and the letters and watched as the areas I lightly sprayed slowly began to lighten up! Seemed pretty magical! Then I took the top off of the bottle and used the straw part to flick bigger drips and drops of bleach all around, giving it a cool edgy magical look. I was, having so much fun, I forgot to take a pic in between! While I forgot to grab my phone and take a shot, when I was pleased with the way the bleach around the shield was developing, I lifted up the shield template and positioned the key and bee carefully over the black place where the shield had been making sure it was pretty well centered within the black shield outlined with the bleach spray...

I ironed on the key and bee and then sprayed it with my little bleach bottle. I let it sit for a short time, then sprayed more. I probably repeated 3-4 times, I wanted the key and bee a little lighter than the faded outline.

Damn!!! It turned out cooler than I even imagined! I went ahead and added the same design to the back too.  Then I decided to also add the Brakebills letters down one arm like I've seen on college jackets. Before you ask, nope, this will not be for sale... copyrights, intellectual property, and all that,I made this just for my personal use. That's why I'm not sharing this template either, not to say you can't create your own for yourself! In the future I may offer a totally different design of my own and offer a downloadable template and complete instructions. This was a really fun project and I totally want to make more shirts, jackets and stuff!

This process was kind of addictive...much like magic!

...the jacket is addictive too, it's my new fave!

Then...after all that work....I discovered The Magicians Cafe Press store! I could have bought a jacket!! The author of the books Lev Grossman had fans do some really cool designs for shirts, jackets, and other stuff...I think I might need to get a shirt to wear with my new jacket...maybe a sticker for the car...tote bag...be sure to check it out here:
http://www.cafepress.com/mf/58303574/the-magicians_tshirt?productId=1717603879

I also found this tutorial before I decided to try this technique myself and it was my inspiration for this project. Lots of great practical advice on how to do bleach t-shirt design! http://www.stencilrevolution.com/tutorials/bleach-fabric-guide/

Visit Me at the Authors Booth at St. Louis Pagan Picnic 2016

Lots of people are asking me if I'll be at St. Louis Pagan Picnic this year, the answer to that question is a resounding "Yes, I will be there!" But please read on, there's an important change that you'll need to know if you want to find me there!

Last year we didn't vend, but I really love to be involved with Pagan Picnic, we just had too much going on to have time to prepare. Many people don't realize that it takes us literally months to make all the products that we've brought in the past, and with all my growing publishing demands, we just didn't have the time. This year isn’t looking much different, with tons of work on the old wooden art table. I really still want to be involved with Pagan Picnic, but we needed to re-think things to better serve the needs of my family, my deadlines, and my Pagan Picnic friends. We love our St. Louis peeps, let's face it dears, we've all watched our kids grow up over the years, forged friendships, danced to the drums, and made magic together. I absolutely can’t imagine a year of not being there, so this year I AM going to participate, but just in a different capacity than as a vendor.

Yes, selling our wares has become a big part of my Pagan Picnic experience, but being involved in a spiritual community should never take a back seat to business, that’s just not who we are, or who we ever want to be. That's why I will be joining the Authors Booth at Pagan Picnic instead of doing a vending booth!

Some of my books and decks,; some I've written, some I contributed articles to, some of these I've illustrated. Come see me at the Author's Booth at St. Louis Pagan Picnic and find out what pretties I'm bringing including the new book I wrote that I hope to have there The Witch's Mirror!
I'm also very delighted to be offering free workshops both days as well, something that I’ve been too busy with vending to manage in the last couple of years. I’m excited about having an opportunity to join in more in of the Pagan Picnic activities with everyone, I’m looking forward to having time to attend rituals again, attend a couple workshops, and have more time to chat with the attendees at Picnic instead of just selling. Of course as always, we plan to bring a generous cache of donations for the raffle and I'll have my books and decks for the Authors Table and a few small items  "road show style,"

But Mickie, We Want to Shop For Art!

Of course we don’t want to disappoint anyone who loves to shop with us, so we've worked out a perfect solution. Watch for the ad in the program (and I'll have coupons at the Authors Booth too) with a special coupon code just for Pagan Picnic to all of our online stores so that our Pagan Picnic friends can still get goodies from us with free shipping for the month of June!  Have you ever come by our booth and we didn't have the art you wanted on the product you wanted? This also solves that problem because we'll make exactly what you want just for you while you shop in your pajamas from home. You don't have to haul it all over Tower Grove Park either, it will just magically show up at your front door. When you shop with us online, we have literally everything in stock and even make custom stuff for people. We can add your name to that mug you wanted, personal text to a garden flag, and we don't charge a dime extra for that either....and for Pagan Picnic peeps, free shipping in all throughout June!

Did You Say Free Workshops? Tell me More...

The dates and times for the programming are still TBA but I will be presenting an hour long workshop on Saturday and one on Sunday. Watch the Pagan Picnic website for the schedule, but here's the workshops that I'll be bringing you:

Sacred Coloring, Tips and Tricks

Adult coloring books and coloring pages have become very popular for relaxation, and it’s a great alternative to traditional meditation.  Join Pagan artist Mickie Mueller and learn tips and tricks to maximize the magical aspects of coloring making the experience even more sacred. Mickie will also share colored pencil and marker shading techniques to take your coloring to the next level, as well as the meanings of different colors and how they help you manifest your goals magically through the process of coloring. Will she also have a couple free coloring pages for you to take home and color later on? Of course she will!
Llewellyn's Witch's Coloring Book featuring Llewellyn artists  Mickie Mueller, Elisabeth Alba, Kathleen Edwards, Jennifer Hewitson, Wen Hsu, and Carloyn Vibbart. I'll be using this coloring book and Animal Totem Mandala Coloring Book by Wendy Martin and Natalie Zaman to demonstrate coloring techniques.

Become a More Powerful Witch through Mirror Magic

Mickie Mueller, the Author of the new book The Witch’s Mirror, discusses the theory and uses of mirrors in magical practice. Everyone will get their own enchanted witch’s mirror to keep. We will use our mirrors as we perform a simple yet powerful spell to connect with your true self, boosting your personal power and thus your magical energy. Mickie will also have a non-reversing mirror on display that shows your face as others see it, not in reverse as we usually see our own reflections; it’s a curiosity of science and magic!
The spell in the mirror workshop is an extra spell that's not in the book...oooohhh...bonus! Won't be in St. Louis for Pagan Picnic? You can pre-order The Witch's Mirror from LlewellynAmazonBarnes & Noble, or watch for it at an IndieBound bookstore near you.
If you plan to be attending St. Louis Pagan Picnic in beautiful Tower Grove Park June 4th and 5th, come by and see me at The Author's Booth at St. Louis Pagan Picnic, I hope to have the very first copies of my brand new book The Witch’s Mirror! I'll also have copies of  Voice of the Trees: A Celtic Ogham Oracle, Mystical Cats Tarot, Llewellyn’s Witch’s Coloring Book, and  I'll a few books I’ve illustrated on hand.
