No Drama Family Gathering Spell to Radiate Peace, Love, and Blessings Wi...

Some people have lots of stress during the holidays due to high expectations, social anxiety, finances, or dealing with family who you might not get along with at gatherings. I thought a spell to radiate peace around the family gathering and help to banish drama might be useful this time of the year, although you can do this one anytime.



Clementines are popular at the holiday time, and it so happens that you can use one to make some really cool candle magic and impress everyone at your holiday gathering, this spell is totally under the radar, it looks like a gorgeous pinable party trick but done with the proper intention it can really raise the vibrations around you. Plus, you don't have to break out a huge sage bundle and fill the place with smoke to calm everyone's nerves!



Score the clementine around its center, and carefully pull the peel off in two pieces. As you do this visualize the scent of the clementine releasing joyful, healing, and calming vibes into the house. This spell uses easy ingredients from around the house to help keep the peace and is great for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any time you’re family is getting together. I'll show you how to do it step by step.

Creepy Frozen Charlotte Dolls: The Weird History and Reading the Poem About F...

I bundled up and hit the road with my little Frozen Charlotte doll in tow and headed to Meramec State Park to tell you all about the folklore behind these interesting little porcelain dolls.



 There's some history behind these creepy little dolls that were very popular during the Victorian era. Lots of people see them at yard sales or second hand shops and pass them by not realizing that there's a dark story behind them. Many collectors purchase these dolls to display and admire the folklore behind them. I’ll also take you on a walk in the frozen Midwest while I read you the tale that inspired these dolls name, A Corpse Going to a Ball by Seba Smith.

MY DIY FLORIDA WATER and FREE Printable Label

I really needed to make a new batch of my home-made Florida Water so I decided to make a video so you can see how I do it.

So this is my DIY Florida water and I have a free download for
a Printable Label in the video description on YouTube so that when you make your own Florida water, you can have a
pretty bottle too! My recipe is an altered version of the one that appeared in
the 2018-2019 Llewellyn’s Sabbats Almanac, I wrote a series of essays for that
entitled Portable Magic.

easy method when I was researching my book Llewelllyn’s Little Book of

How to Celebrate Samhain with my Sigil and Enter the Book Giveaway

a few simple ideas for your Samhain celebration? I have a Samhain sigil to
share with you, a free download, and a few ideas on how you can use it to
celebrate Samhain. Also, we passed 900 subscribers so of course I’m doing

Samhain can
be a super busy time in the Northern hemisphere if we celebrate on October 31 because
of course it dovetails with Halloween festivities, trick or treaters ringing
your doorbell, and all that goes with it, and yet it’s also a solemn time when
we contemplate those who have passed and also think about the progression of
time as we look back over the previous year and ahead to the future.  Samhain is also a great time to perform spells
and divination because the veil between the worlds is thin and energy can
easily move between for manifesting and insight. So some easy practical ways to
celebrate can be really useful.

So I have a free
printable sheet for you which includes this design on a beautiful petition. I
left them black and white so you can color them if you wish to add your own
energy to the design. If you’re new to petition magic,  you can use petition magic in many different
ways, it’s all about intention. You can burn a petition with the intention of
releasing and banishing something or with the intention of sending it off to
manifest. It’s fairly simple magic and it’s really all about what you visualize
the energy doing when you burn it. 

Here’s a few
examples:

1.    You can use this Samhain petition to
banish things you don’t want in your life anymore like bad habits, old
patterns, obstacles to your goals. I suggest using it as a two part petition
for this purpose. Write what you want to banish on half of the petition and
then on the other half write what you want to replace it with. Remember nature
abhors a vacuum so deciding what you want to replace those things with can
really help to banish them for good. When you burn it visualize casting it into
the cauldron to transform the energies in your life into something better.

2.    One of my favorite things to do with
petition magic on Samhain especially if I have non witch guests who want to try
a bit magic on Samhain, is to write three wishes for the upcoming year. The
guideline is that these must be achievable goals. Fill it with your energy,
visualize them already happening, Then cast them into the flames sending them
into the universe to manifest.

3.    You can also use petition magic
especially at Samhain to send messages of love or remembrance to loved ones who
have passed. Simply write your message and send it by flames through the veil.

4.    One more great use for petition magic
at Samhain  is to receive messages from
beyond. Write down a question that needs an answer and burn it. The answer
should come to you in your dreams that night, especially during Samhain when
our psychic windows are very open. You can also use this petition on Samhain
using the method for dream magic in this video.

I also added
this sigil to a little a candle label that you can use for a little jar candle
to place on your Samhain altar, your hearth, or even your front porch. Just cut
it out and use a glue stick to attach it to any jar candle holder. I like
sprinkling cloves on my candle for protection, you can also use cinnamon for protection
or prosperity, thyme and rosemary for remembrance. Of course as always, see
what you have on hand and feel free to use the petition and candle label in any
way that inspires your magic this Samhain.

Samhain Pumpkin Protection Spell

This one is perfect for your full moon magic tonight, but you can do it anytime you have a pumpkin! Samhain Pumpkin Protection Spell October and the veil
between the worlds is thin, they’re all noticing more spirit activity. I’m
going to show you how to cast a spell with any pumpkin for shielding your home
from toxic energies and low vibration, toxic spirits! This pumpkin also
welcomes helpful spirits aligned with your higher good, because honoring
ancestors and beloved dead is a wonderful way to celebrate Samhain. This is a
great spell to do on Halloween/ Samhain and uses easy ingredients that you have
around the house. You can use any pumpkin to radiate protection energy across
your property to keep unwelcomed spirits from affecting your homes energy. I’ll
walk you through this spell step by step. This is an appropriate spell for
beginners or experienced witches alike, you may decide to use this little ritual
every year.

INCANTATION FOR SPELL:

“Precious Pumpkin watch over my home

Protecting from bane all you behold

By the power of the pale moonlight,

Shield us from harm both day and night.”
